boussieres 0
Hello, I am in version 1.2.4.0 with p3d v4.5 that I just installed. Systematically with version 1.2.4.0, after a few moments, the simulator crashes and the machine rebbot. I said that with other devices there is no problem. Thanks
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted May 2, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 2, 2019 The Airbus is an add-on to P3D, which itself is a standard Windows application. No Windows application is able to reboot your machine. Things like that can only caused by components much more closer to the Windows system itself, like the drivers for your graphics board. So I suggest that you bring ALL hardware drivers in your system to the most recent version.
boussieres 0
Excuse me, I misspoke. My machine does not rebbot, after a few moments, the simulator crashes and exit. All my drivers are ok. I have no problem with other aircraft nor any problem with the previous aerosoft version.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted May 2, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 2, 2019 Please take a look into your Windows Event Viewer (eventlog.exe -> Windows Logs -> Application) and check for red error entries of "Prepar3d.exe". If you find any, please post all displayed details of it here.

boussieres 0
I tested the problem reported. I use for the weather Active sky next. When this software is running, the problem mentioned above occurs. If I do not use ASN, everything works perfectly. ASN works with all my other planes without worry. ASN worked very well with the previous version of the airbus. Can you look at this problem. Thank you
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted May 3, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 3, 2019 TBH, no idea what to look at. I also use AS on every flight and never had a single CTD. And the fact that the kernelbase.dll crashes is in 99% a Windows and/or driver problem. With what othr aircraft do you not have the problem? When you have the CTD while using the Airbus, that only means that the Airbus uses a regular function call under Windows that can not properly been executed by the OS. boussieres 0
in fact, I have problems with the new version of Airbus (1.2.4.0.) Previously worked well with ASN. I do not understand your explanation. How do you explain that while the new version of airbus and without ASN, everything works well ?
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted May 6, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted May 6, 2019 Kernelbase errors are always rather simple. The application did a call to a system (OS System) function that it could not handle. So it's not an error of the application (as long as it works with other users) but of an OS file that is not correct. Often these are driver issues. RRVyper 13
@boussieres I don't believe P3D v4.5 is compatible with ASN. You need Active Sky for Prepar3D v4. Randy
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted May 6, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 6, 2019 Randy, you are indeed correct, overlooked it in the other guys posts above. Neither ASN nor AS16 are compatible wit P3Dv4. Therefore we can close this topic. @boussieres update ActiveSky to a p3Dv4 compatible version
