Do me a favor and try this and see if it makes a difference: 1. Delete your Prepar3d.cfg file 2. Delete your P3D Shaders folder. Both will be rebuilt for you the next time you start P3D. There are a few other things to try, such as ensuring all your addons are P3Dv4 compatible, and one of the first things I'd check is any scenery you're running for the airports you're flying in/out of, but first try the two things list above. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted April 9, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted April 9, 2019 And also confirm it is not a scenery issue by trying it at another airport. If that does not crash the aircraft try with those airports in the default state.
gasparr 0
No, unfortunately, none of the proposed methods have eliminated periodic ctd. The same thing happens with another user, we tried to solve the problem but unsuccessfully.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted April 10, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted April 10, 2019 is that other user in contact with us? I tried three departures from both airports but am unable to replicate the issue. As you specifical mention these airports we simply have to assume the scenery plays a role. gasparr 0
Another crash occurred shortly after departure from the uuee, during the flight of the crew. One more evening wasted.

Can you provide the error in the Winodws Event Viewer? If you're not familiar with doing this, please use AppCrashView. Just download, install, and run it. It's way too easy to use. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
ianor 6
I am aware that this has been raised before ......sorry, but I cannot find the fix! (if there is one) I have been experiencing multiple CTDs. The Event Viewer shows the problem : Prepar3D.exe 4.4.16.27077 5bfdbb35 Airbus_ECAMD2D.dll 1.64.0.274 5ca7a494 c0000005 000000000014de12 21e4 01d4f06ded0544ec H:\P3Dv4\Prepar3D.exe H:\P3Dv4\Aerosoft A320-A321 Professional\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft A320-A321 Professional Base\Panel_Fallback\Airbus_ECAMD2D.dll 922f0380-ef8c-4b52-8e11-1113130fcb6a I am using v 1.2.3.6 on Windows10 . I was thinking of doing a fresh download from my Instant Downloads, but I note that is still v 1.2.3.0. After downloading that version and running the Updater, would that result in v1.2.3.6? Many thanks in advance for any advice.

ianor 6
Many thanks Mathijs.... So just to confirm ...... if I download and install a new v.1.2.3.0..... and then run the updater, I will end up with new install at v 1.2.3.6?

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted April 12, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted April 12, 2019 ucrtbase errors are almost always caused by issues with runtime files. There are hundreds of pages about it in the net, many with very good suggestions.

I agree with Mathijs, the most likely cause is your C++ Redistributable Packages. You might try using the Dot Net Repair Tool to see if that helps. If not, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall each of your C++ Redistributable Packages. I hope this helps!

In this case it is likely the C++ Redistributables and even if thats not the case it is the logical place to start. Best wishes!
