Vvince 0
Hello, is anybody flying the plane in VR? How convenient is it to read the gauges/MFDs and to input the different data with the knobs? Thanks for any info, Vvince
michael-t 4
Vvince, since I have the Oculus Rift, I only fly in VR. The CRJ runs very smooth with the Rift and P3Dv4.4 in native VR (single-pass mode). Surely, I have to use zoom to read the small dials. This is o.K., but zoom causes one problem: while setting HDG, Speed, ALT, VS and CRS on the glareshield using mouse, I cannot check what I do on the PFD. Therefore, I have to repeatedly look at the PFD, which in turn causes the mouse cursor to loose focus. But the feeling of sitting in the cockpit is overwhelming. Go give it a try. Vvince 0
Thank you Michael. As you I have the oculus, and only fly in VR now. Good to know it runs smoothly (low fps is a game killer in VR...). So I'll give it a try, hoping that setting the HDG, Speed, ALT, VS, CRS on the PFD is still manageable with some practice... Cheers Vvince

Developer Hans Hartmann 3695 Posted April 11, 2019 Developer Share Posted April 11, 2019 Until I can afford a Rift or Vive, I guess VR is not supported. Sorry.
