Bad format when entering ILS freq

Hi

I can insert the VOR freq manually in NAV1 or NAV2 on the RAD NAV page. However, I cannot insert the ILS freq and always get a "bad format" message.

I enter in the format how it is indicated in the ILS line: course/freq like for example 138/108.30.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, Walter

No worries, it's pretty standard.

On the first line for ILS (LS), you can enter either the ILS Indentifer (Designator) or the Frequency.

Example:  The ILS Identifier for KPHL 27R is I-PDP, and the ILS Frequency is 108.96.  You can enter either "IPDP" (found on the chart) which will automatically enter the ILS frequency for you, or you can enter the actual frequency (108.95).  Then enter the ILS course just below that entry.

Please see the attached video for more information.

Best wishes!

Wow, thanks, Dave for this quick help. In FSX I used the older Aerosoft Airbus planes and there I had to insert the ILS freq like I tried first.
