I can not see the VC lights, the beacon lights and strobe lights...so, how can I fix this? My PC specs: DirectX 12 AMD A12-9720P Raedon R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8GB 2.7 GHz RAM 16GB Graphic card: AMD Raedon R7 Graphics 8GB
DaveCT2003 2553
P3Dv4.3 or v4.4? Have you upgraded to the latest version? If not, please do so, and then clear your P3D Shaders. This should resolve this for you. Best wishes.
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted December 26, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 26, 2018 DanielJ199723 posted earlier about this issue,so I’ll close that one. He posted in the Aircraft/General section and apparently missed I moved that post for him.
Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted December 26, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted December 26, 2018 Daniel J, a more descriptive title will help others with this question find this thread. I suggest “Can’t See External or VC Lights.” If you approve, I’ll take care of changing it for you.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 26, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted December 26, 2018 Assuming dynamic lights are set to on it could be caused by non-standard shaders or effects. Unfortunate some add-ons replace default files.

Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 2, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted January 2, 2019 Could it be your graphics card is simply unable to display these things? Laptop for example?
DanielJ199723 0
Yes, a laptop
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted January 9, 2019 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted January 9, 2019 So it is onboard graphic with max of 2 GB memory. Guess this is the problem and shows as always that laptops are a bad choice for games (except dedicated gaming laptops). Maybe a driverupdate helps in your case. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted January 10, 2019 Aerosoft Share Posted January 10, 2019 On your hardware, I would seriously advise simpler aircraft, say pre 2017. Almost all aircraft made after that will simply not run correctly on your limited graphical memory.
