Black mountains around Lukla

Hello,

Since the update to P3D v4.4, I have black mountains around Lukla. I have installed your Lukla scenery and further I use ORBX global world, trees and vector. First I downloaded the scenery again from my account and reinstalled Lukla, but that did not help. Than I switch off Lukla and Lukla LC in the scenery library and I had normal mountains again, but of course not Lukla anymore. After switching it on again the black mountains were back. You can expect that im Schwartswald, aber nicht in Lukla hahaha.

Do you have any suggestion how to solve that? Oh yes, Lukla and Lukla LC are above the ORBX sceneries, and Lukla LC above Lukla. Furthe see picture.

Thanks and frohe Weinachten.

Best regards, Eef Klaassen

How have you performed the update to v4.4? Have you updated all 3 P3D lackages?

You most likely need to install all your Orbx stuff again.

Unfortunately I have the same issue in my P3D V4.4.

I did the P3D update by downloading and updating the Client and Content-Installer, but not the Scenery. As it was recommended.

I do not have any problem with all other sceneries, except Lukla.

How can I solve that?

I guess the main problem is, that Lukla is not compatible with Prepar3D v4, but only with v3:

There is a complete new version of Lukla in the making which will be fully compatible with P3Dv4:

This is a very long thread, but the pictures are looking great.

I don't wanna read that long thread. Short question: is it available now?

The developing is ongoing since 2016 when I'm right!

Shot answer: No ;)

Otherwise it wouldnt be preview. Also it will come for AFS 2 first, P3d will follow; and no, there is no timeframe

@Tom A320you was wrong, as you said "it is not compatible to P3D V4".

in the scenery package I found a Readme.txt, where I can read:

Zitieren

HISTORY

1.00     Release Version
2.00    Compatibility with FSX:SE
2.20    Compatibility with P3D V3
2.30    Compatibility with P3D V4

So it SHOULD be compatible to V4.

And as I heard from some people, it works in V4!

But what is the problem in my simulator, what can I do?

The installer got updated for P3Dv4, but not the scenery itself. That's why the product page still clearly states:

Those black areas are known in P3Dv4, but I don't know of any fix for that.
