MonchoGamer 0
I have a friend who just bought the Aerosoft A320/321 via steam for his FSX SE. I had that plane too so we decided to do a connected flight deck. We connected in hamachi and made a network, we made sure that the ping was working, then we pasted eachothers IPs in the Aerosoft A320 configurator and finally we oppened FSX Steam Edition. We went to free flight and started a flight with the same aircraft on the same airport. However i have a payware scenery and he has the default one (but from what I understand that shouldnt be a problem cause as soon as we connect the slaves aircraft will teleport to where the masters aircraft is located). I was the master and he was the slave (we also tried it the other way) master connected first but then when we both are "connected" a mesage on the right side of the right FMC says "NOT CONNECTED". What are we doing wrong??

What are we doing wrong?? Unfortunately, the Airbus Steam Edition does not have Connected Flight Deck. Also, we are not the publisher for that product, so you would have to speak to the Steam folks to find out more information about this. By the way, using Hamachi is strongly discouraged due to security related issues. Unless you have an Internet Service Provider which does not allow for Port Forwarding (very few do, but we know of one or two in Germany that prevent this). You can find more information about this and other important Shared Cockpit/Connected Flight Deck topics in the OVPA Guides pinned to the top of this forum. My very best wishes!
