Catalina CTD when on water

Hello

I hope you can help me with this problem. I bought the Cat yesterday and I'm using it in P3D v4.4. I have Windows 7 64 bit. It loads up alright and functions perfectly normally when on land but when I start it in water, it stutters really badly and then I get a ctd. In the event viewer it says this:

Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 4.4.16.27077, time stamp: 0x5bfdbb35
Faulting module name: XAudio2_7.dll, version: 9.29.1962.0, time stamp: 0x4c0643cc
Exception code: 0x80000003
Fault offset: 0x000000000002b72c
Faulting process id: 0x104c
Faulting application start time: 0x01d497db04f9a9ab
Faulting application path: F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Prepar3D.exe
Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\XAudio2_7.dll
Report Id: 480c508e-03cf-11e9-9888-ac9e17845053

I followed the link in this thread:

I tried renaming the XAudio2_7.dll but it instantly crashes when trying to load up the aircraft.

Please could you help with this - I'm itching to get flying it - it looks beautiful!

Please let me know if you need any further information to help...

Cheers

Stu

Hi there

I found this thread

and the asc.dll here has fixed my problems!

Wasn't sure the issues were related but it seems they are.

Thanks, you can close this thread.

Stu.
