Meyerflyer 154
Hi, there still seems to be a bug in the numbering of the single repaints in the aircraft.cfg when editing them via the livery manager. I just updates to the latest update and therefore lost all livieres (as expected). I then launched the livery manager as administrator, deleted some livieries and added one A320 CFM livery (D-AIZC). After having a look into the aircraft.cfg the numbering is wrong. It seems, that the livery manager just deletes the code in the aircraft.cfg without re-numbering them. Once the first livery is FLTSIM.0 and continues with FLTSIM.2, all liveries, including the 2 won't get loaded into the sim if 1 is missing. I posted this bug many weeks ago, but with no response. After editing the livieries with the livery manager, my aircraft.cfg looks like this. FLTSIM.1 is missing. Please check this. Meyerflyer 154
Same with the A319 IAE. This time, I didn't add any livieries, just deleted ones, I wouldn't use. FLTSIM.0 is missing, so in this case, all liveries won't be shown in P3D. Meyerflyer 154
Zitieren Once the first livery is FLTSIM.0 and continues with FLTSIM.2, all liveries, including the 2 won't get loaded into the sim if 1 is missing. I described it not clear enough. Not all liveries won't get loaded, but all liveries behind FLTSIM.2, including FLTSIM.2. I found out, that the rule seems to be, that the numbering must start with FLTSIM.0 and must continue with the next following number. P3D does not tolerate any mistakes here. If it doesn't start with FLTSIM.0, no liveries get loaded. If it starts with FLTSIM.0 and continues for example with FLTSIM.2, no liveries except FLTSIM.0 get loaded. So the correct numbering is important to have all liveries in the sim that you can see in the livery manager. The LM should ensure, that the numbering is correct. ATM it seems to only delete code, without adapting the numbers.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 20, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted December 20, 2018 I'll ask the dev to look at this early next year.
Querer 74
That is strange, as the Livery Manager works without any issue in my case, the numbering is always correct when adding or removing paints. However, what does also not work in my case: if the aircraft folder already (or still) contains the liveries from the installation prior the update, adding the same livery again via Livery Manager simply fails. In such a case, I need to manually delete the texture folder in the aircraft folder of the bus I want to add a repaint again...
WillsB3 0
Sorry to jump in here, but I'm seeing something strange that maybe related? I saw the D-AIZV repaint listed in my aircraft.cfg (by S.Hoffmann) also, however it wasn't showing up in sim. When I checked for the corresponding texture folder it does not exist. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the airbus and now this entry is not in my aircraft.cfg at all... I don't think I ever installed a D-AIZV repaint, and I thought that the ones from S.Hoffmann came out of the box, but I no longer have this entry in my aircarft.cfg at all after a reinstall, and I can't see a D-AIZV repaint available online by the same author anywhere. Is it possible this erroneous entry was somehow mangled/mistakenly added when I used the Livery Manager to install other liverys? Edit: The entry for D-AIZV reappeared after running the aerosoft updater and updating the 320 bus to 1.2.2.0, however it still doesn't appear in the sim and the texture folder "DAIZV" still does not exist. Edit 2: Please disregard my issue - it appears unrelated and is documented in this thread
