EGPH-LFPG - another low routing

Recommended Posts

EGPH-LFPG in a Lear 25 with a 51,000ft ceiling. Tried several times now to get a routing with a decent ceiling. All I can get is FL290. Why? Tried Min Fuel, Min Cost but stuck at 290. Tried Min Time and cruise was 250.

Route is: EGPH GOSA1C GOSAM P600 FENIK UL612 WOD UM605 BIBAX BIBA8D LFPG

PFPX v2.03.

EuroControl city pair level capping

EG4064

(EGTTFIR except (LONDON_GROUP, EGTC)) to (BRUSSELS_GROUP,PARIS_GROUP, EH**) via VABIK

Not above FL295

H24

You would also need to be below FL265 at SFD where EGLF1001 applies.

Validated plan:

(FPL-LEAR-IS
-LJ25/L-SDFGRWY/S
-EGPH1420
-N0441F290 GOSAM P600 FENIK UL612 WOD/N0444F270 UM605
 SFD/N0446F260 UM605 BIBAX
-LFPG0128 LFOE
-PBN/B2B3B4D2D3O2O3S2 DOF/181218 REG/LEAR
 EET/EGTT0015 LFFF0105 RVR/550 PER/C
-E/0228)

If you set a FL260 restriction at SFD Ray you could lift the sector in EGTT by overiding the route MAX ALT/FL entry:

(FPL-LEAR-IS
-LJ25/L-SDFGRWY/S
-EGPH1420
-N0435F390 GOSAM P600 FENIK UL612 COWLY/N0444F270 UL612 WOD
 UM605 SFD/N0446F260 UM605 BIBAX
-LFPG0128 LFOE
-PBN/B2B3B4D2D3O2O3S2 DOF/181218 REG/LEAR
 EET/EGTT0015 LFFF0105 RVR/550 PER/C
-E/0228)

Thanks Stephen. I have to admit I'm no expert with all these rules. I would have thought that higher would have been allowed as it uses less fuel.

Just seen your second reply. I shall try that on the return although whether it works for a flight to EGCC is anyone's guess. :) I've never tried setting a restriction. Something new to learn.

LATER: Just planned LFPG-EGCC and I get cleared up to FL400. :D

Information on just about all of the error codes and restrictions are available at the Eurocontrol-RAD website , refer to the current AIRAC entry.

There is a consolidated PDF but of late the row height can cut-off some of the entry, you may then need to access the spreadsheets.

Having computed the flight in PFPX and validated the route information at the foot of the message tab will indicate any IFPS errors should there be any.

Most of the error information is self explanatory, by all means post anything that is not clear.
