xplane 11.30 R1 issue

Hi everybody,

after installation of the update xplane 11.30 R1 the flightsimulator does not

start anymore.The Flightsim always crashes.

On the other hand there is no problem with the version xplane 11.26.

You have to know I always keep two copies on my harddisk -

one is containing a released version whereas the second copy is used for

beta-updates - now the version 11.30 R1 included.

I tried several times without any success.

Maybe there is somebody who is able to help me.

Thank you in advance.

Cheers

Bernd Schwarz

Hi everybody,

I just followed the recommendation of Heinz and Karsten. In my case it didn't help. The issue still exists.

I'm at a loss right know.  😞

I remember xplane was running with all beta-version except with this release R1.

Thank you anyway for your trial to help me.

with kind regards

Bernd Schwarz

Hello bernd,

if you want, send the Log.txt file as an attachement to us. You find it in the installed X-Plane 11 folder.

Close X-Plane 11 before.

May be we can see something wrong in it.

But keep in mind, also X-Plane 11.30 r1 is a beta version.....

Hello Bernd,

thanks for the Log file.

But unfortunately there is no reason included for the crash.

It occurs very early...

If you have done the reset of the preferences then may be an additionally update is an idea.

Please use this installer for that. It also repairs a system during the update.

https://www.x-plane.com/desktop/try-it/ (One Installer, All of X-Plane).

Run the installer as admin (right mouse button).

Hello Heinz,

first of all thank you very much for the link! I made a download of the installer. I tell you what:

It worked - but only once. The second launch as usual - crash at the early beginning.

There is no problem with the 11.26 release version! Thank God!   🙂

Presently I'm a little overasked about the problem I have in connection  with the R1-version.

I don't know what these guys from Laminar changed with the release version!  😞

cheers

Bernd

Hello Bernd,

hmmm ok,... that is strange.

What, if you install with the installer a second copy of X-Plane 11 with beta checkbox.

Then don't install any plugin or addon. And test the sim.

Or deactivate (better deinstall) own installed plugins and addons (sceneries....) in your actual installed X-Plane 11.

Make a backup from the plugins and the Custom Scenery folder before.

Then test it with an X-plane 11 standard airplane at first.

I think, this is the only way to find the problem...

Additionally, you can open a bug report to Laminar Research. Log.txt must be included.

May be there is a problem with the beta...

http://dev.x-plane.com/support/bugreport.html

And here you find some more infos about known bugs with X-Plane 11.30r1.

https://www.x-plane.com/kb/x-plane-11-30-release-notes/#Release_Candidate_1

For example there is a known bug with AMD grafic cards (Driver). With the Log file I cannot see your installed grafic card (Nvidia or AMD).

But please be sure to have installed the actual driver from the vendor.

Hello Heinz,

the last hours I was trying your workaround. ....no success! The issue still remains!   I give up!

I will wait for another update. Thank God I still have version 11.26 without any problem.

Anyway - thank you very much for your dedication. I really appreciate it.

Have a good time.

Happy X-mas!

cheers

Bernd
