Meyerflyer 154
Hi, this is more a question than an error report. Is it normal, that the nose wheel does not move while the aircraft is not moving on the ground? I'm pretty sure, the nose wheel moves while the aircraft is not rolling in RL, but the Aerosoft bus' nose wheel does only start moving at 1kt. Therefore, when I start taxi and move the nose wheel to its full deflection, the bus will roll about half a meter straight forward, until it reaches about 1-2kt and then the nose wheel turns to either side sharply. That doesn't seem to be correct.
Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 10, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted December 10, 2018 We are not planning to change that because it avoids people unable to move the aircraft without incredibly high trust levels. I also seem to recall the real aircraft does it like that.
Meyerflyer 154
Hmm. I would say that is not correct. I'm sure, the A320 nose wheel moves while standing on the ground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuQxJr1CUEg See 08:35 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EcOs5mCfjNE Also the A330 does. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opq1N-gMTaU Another example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9elwxUYEUOA When you say you have reasons to do it that way, it's okay, but basically it's still not like in the real Bus IMO. Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted December 10, 2018 Aerosoft Share Posted December 10, 2018 Okay. Then we decided not to mimic that behavior to avoid inexperienced users running into problems. FS/P3D and ground friction is a bitch. X-Plane is so much better.
