Are you sure that you have configured the Active Sky folder correctly?

Yep, AS folder is correct. The world map has the feathers, the METAR is reading, but "No weather data available" on the charts tab when you go to release the flight... Works "Online" though as OP says.

I think to problem is, that the Active Sky weather file is exactly what it's name says: a snapshot. It doesn't contain any forecast information.

For example:

  • my current Active Sky weather contains METAR information for 072100Z
  • my scheduled departure is 072235Z, my scheduled arrival is 080105Z

And PFPX actually tells me that it doesn't have the needed data for that time:

Okie dokie, well if that's a limitation of ActiveSky, and another reason to use the PFPX online service, then I can accept that. Just wasn't sure if it was a genuine bug or not, so thought it was worth flagging.

ActiveSky works as is did in the previous versions in all other respects.

Thanks for thr clarification.

Yeah except I used Active sky to plan another flight and I got all the wind data and charts etc perfectly so not sure what going on

It seems to be a simple timing question, if PFPX considers the Active Sky data still valid or not. As you have seen in my case a 1.5h difference is already rejected.

Can confirm the vertical profile winds appears to be fixed in v2.01… Still missing wind information at the various flight levels though

Not correct.

Here is the EDDF part of the current_wx_snapshot.txt file from earlier today. After the first set of double semicolons the TAF from 091200 to 101800 is included:
