am I right, that repaints from the "old" P3D v3 bus in the professional one can cause problems? Or is everything okay, when the livery shows up correctly? Can you recommend to use only new compiled professional bus 64-bit liveries, if yes, why? Thanks for short information.

Yes, some of them do, and given they were created by different people the only way to tell for sure is to try them.

Thank you. Which kind of issue can old liveries have? Could this only be visual issues or a complete P3D crash/CTD?

I recently had two P3D crashes/CTDs with old liveries installed and I want to find out if they could have caused these crashes.

It's difficult to say, but often we see slats/flaps not visually where they are supposed to be (flaps up in the aircraft display, but visually deployed) or aircraft not fully populating.  There can be a myriad of issues.

 

That said, many work without any issues.  You just have to test it to see if it's fully compatible.

 

In the coming months and beyond we'll see more and more new liveries created by the community which will be 100% compatible with the Pro version.
