SimPilot767 157
Hi Captains, since a few days i recognized, that whenever i start FSX (addon-aircraft or default) the engines are not running and i always have to push CTRL+E to start them up... How can i have the default behavior of engines running at startup of FSX? Please help... So save one you like to startup with and in the Save Flight dialog you will find an option to make it the default startup. Problem solved!
SimPilot767 157
Thanks Mathjis, FSX has solved the problem for itself by installing Acceleration pack today. Now everything works fine again. I´m happy about the new "outside" night lighting after installing acc-pack, but i hate the new "inside" night lighting. It´s much, much too light. i spent a couple of hours in full flight simulators with night-flight conditions and fsx-cockpits have nothing to do with the original night lighting of real aircrafts... Robert S 75
Phil Taylor has posted a fix for this issue: VC Lighting in daytime. There was a change to the aircraft.cfg for the following aircraft: o A321 o B737 o CRJ-700 o C172 o C208B o Beaver o DC3 o Goose o Lear45 o Maule o Maule with skis These aircraft can be fixed by uncommenting the line containing the fx_vclights keyword. No code change was made as part of this change, so that should revert the aircraft to SP1 behavior. And Simpilot767 posted the exact "how-to" fix here: http://www.forum.aerosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=14147
ArnoldVDH 0
Are the accelleration pack and service pack 1 the same thing, or can/do you install both? Thank you. Regards, Arnold
koen3950 0
Are the accelleration pack and service pack 1 the same thing, or can/do you install both? SP1 is included in acceleration, so it is enough to just install acceleration on a stock FSX (but it is of course possible to install it on FSX + SP1).
