bobterri6 10
I see that I should save my liveries before updating to 1.2.1.4. I can't find specific instructions on how to do that. I've looked, not exhaustively, but for quite a bit and I just can't find those instructions. Would someone point me to how to do this? Thanks. DaveCT2003 2553
Backing up your liveries can be done to three different ways. 1. Use the Livery Manager to backup and later reinstall your liveries. 2. Backup both the liveries and the livery entries in the aircraft.cfg file, 3. Ensure you don't remove the livery graphics files, and instead copy of the livery entries in the aircraft.cfg file and add them back after the update. In the default location, the aircraft.cfg files are found at: C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\Documents\Aerosoft\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft A318 CFM Professional Open the aircraft.cfg file with Notepad++ (free download) In the aircraft.cfg file you will find livery entries which start with "[FLTSIM.0]". Each entry must be sequential. It pays tremendously to learn the FSX/P3D file structure and that for addons... this will save you LOADS of time in the future. Likely the best resource for this is on the Lockheed Martin website and forums. Best wishes.
