Engine state with FSUIPC

Hi !

We are developing a new ACARS software for our Virtual Airlines.

I am experiencing some issues with getting the engine state upon startup (that we were also experiencing with smartCARS)

I give you the log of the engine state, that we are reading with FSUIPC from offsets 0894 and 092C

[26.10.2018 12:47] Engine 2 is running
[26.10.2018 12:47] Engine 2 has been turned off
[26.10.2018 12:47] Engine 2 is running
[26.10.2018 12:47] Engine 2 has been turned off
[26.10.2018 12:47] Engine 2 is running
[26.10.2018 12:48] Engine 1 is running
[26.10.2018 12:48] Engine 1 has been turned off
[26.10.2018 12:48] Engine 1 is running

You can see that the states switch from ON and OFF before being set to ON definitely.

It does not happen on engine shutdown, however.

Is there any workaround to this?

Best Regards,

Noah
