A320/321 loading with every switch off

Hello,

When I try to load the A320 or A321 it loads with every switch off and I cannot change the panel state. The A318/319 are fine. I can turn the switches on and everything works, the only problem is that the IRS' will not begin to align at all. I've tried multiple fresh installs. This is what my overhaul looks like both on initial load and once I turn on the batteries/bus tie.

Obviously there is going something wrong, so:

What exact version of P3Dv4 do you have?

Where did you install the Airbus?

Did you try a complete fresh install of the Airbus?

Post your complete path of your documents folder.

Version is 4.3.29.25520

Airbus is installed C:/Program Files (x86)/Aerosoft

I have tried multiple fresh installs. Same results every time. A318/319 works while I experience the problem above with the A320/321.

Documents is C:/Users/XXX/Documents/Aerosoft

Do NOT install in this directory. Better create a directory like c:\P3D-Adon and install the Airbus there.

Okay, well that's the default directory that is selected by the installer. I did not change it, and it is not the only Aerosoft product installed there. Isn't it just redirected through an addon.xml anyways?

No.

Of course any installer offers you a directory to install to and this is usually the folder you mentioned. In case of P3Dv4 addons it is (should be) different, due to the add-on.xml methode introduced by LM.

And that is what the new Aerosoft Installer in case of P3Dv4 does:

  1. When you have no product installed so far, it asks you for a directory, which is usually the the default WIndows Program folder, but you can choose any other folder you like, e.g. a special folder for addons like I recommended above.
  2. Next time you install another Aerosoft P3Dv4 Addon, the installer remembers such an addon folder and offers it automatically as install folder. And that's what happened in your case. So all addon related files are installed in this folder.

In case of the Airbus there is another install location, which can not be changed. As the different Airbuses shares certain data/files, another folder is being created under c:\users\YOUR_NAME\documents\Aerosoft.

The big advantage of this new installtion methode is, that in case you need to reinstall P3D, you do not need to reinstall all addons again.

Therefore I strongly recommend to uninstall all your Buses, remove remining folders manually, setup a specific folder where you install you addons and install the buses to this folder.

To give you idea how this will then look like: I have a folder named "addons" on my "G" drive where all addons are installed and as you can see there are 2 folder for the A31x and the A32x:

I'm sure, when yoiu are following this advice, your problem is solved. If not then there is something else wrong on your system.
