Airbus not accepting input coordinates for UKFF

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I created a flight plan UKFF -UUDD (UKFF/01 SOGT1W SOGTA DCT RIDLA A100 MIMRA B145 GITAL A928 FE DCT AO AO32A UUDD/32L) flying the Aerosoft  A319-112CFM.

At UKFF the Airbus will not load (or accept) the input coordinates for the UKFF or UKFF/01. The screenshot is from the Airbus A319 NAV system, so the plane knows where it is (these are the precise coordinates need to define the UKFF/01). When I try to input the coordinates to define my airport/point of departure, the FMS input will not accept the departure coordinate values.

Aside from that, the UKFF scenery loads as normal on FSX:SE, and so does the airplane, weather, AI, etc..

Any ideas?

Kind regards,

Marco

Assuming you're referring to the Airbus A318/A319 Professional, I moved this to the correct section of the forum for you. If you haven't looked around the dedicated Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 Professional section of the forum, take a few minutes to become familiar with the different sections. I might also help you to find an answer to other questions you come up with on the product to see what others have asked and had answered.

Edit: I somehow missed the reference to FSX:SE. Thanks Otto and Fragged.

I would assume he has the previous version of the "Aerobus: Running FSX:SE.(an a kickass system)"

Thanks for the replies.

I found the solution thanks to fellow simmers in the Russian Federation that I tried and tested on PMDG (B738ngx): it works.

ROUGH TRANSLATION

"Open with notepad file airports.dat.(for PMDG)

UKFF 45.051944 33.973611

We go to our sim, open the same path there, and insert this line in the same airports.dat file.

Next, with notepad open the ARPT_RWY.dat file, copy the data onto the runway data.

AP; UKFF; SIMFEROPOL; 45.051944; 33.973611; 598
RW; 01; 45.035853; 33.968197; 598; 10930; 010; 010; 12142
RW; 19; 45.068222; 33.979239; 578; 11110; 190; 190; 12142
FS; 01; 45.035816; 33.967861; 639; 10930; 009; 009; 12664
FS; 19; 45.069607; 33.979259; 639; 11110; 189; 189; 12664

Next, from the file wpnavapt.txt we transfer the data to the e-file of our sim with the same name.

SIMFEROPOL UKFF01 12142010 45.035853 33.968197109.3001000598
SIMFEROPOL UKFF19 12142190 45.068222 33.979239111.1019000578"

I'll try to see if I can do the same thing with my Navigraph folders for Aerosoft.

And, as I INITIALLY stated, I'm running FSX:SE

Have a great day, and thanks for the feedback.
