Christian,

Sorry to hear you're having this issue, but I can say that I've never experienced it.  I'll be doing testing later today and I'll take a look at this and get back to you.

Hey, by the way, terminology is so important with these aircraft so I thought I'd point out something (I hope you don't mind, and I don't mean anything by it).  The FMC is really a Boeing Term (it's an FMGC on the Airbus) and many people misuse it.  The FMGC (FMC on Boeing) is a blackbox (with no displays) which is often outside of the flight deck. The CDU (Command Display Unit) is the pilot's interface for the FMC (given that it's a box filled with electronics).  For Airbus the input/output unit is referred to as MCDU, and of course it serves the same purpose the CDU does on Boeing aircraft.

Flight simmers have used these terms interchangably for so long that if you Google Airbus FMC (which of course does not exist) you'll come up with loads of results.  Even some companies that sell hardware for flight simmers refer to the MCDU as an FMC.  So in doing this you are FAR from alone my friend!

I hope you don't mind me sharing this with you, and nothing personal is meant by it.  It's written also for others who might read this thread.

Anyway, I'll take a look as promised and get back to you on the issue you're having.

Best wishes!
