I am using V 1.10.

After reaching cruise level, The descent prep checklist entry immediatley turns orange although I am still far away from
destination.

Other entries only turn orange shortly b4 they have to be called.

Is this intended?

I guess this is intended as you might start your descent at any time after reaching cruising altitude to whatever reason. If it would be blocked until you reach a certain distance to your original top of descent point, this would result in other strange issues. Just think about an emergency or modifying your flightplan for another destination while you are at cruising altitude, it would block the descent checklist for no reason, no?

"Orange" means it is active and last CL has been finished. So nothing to worry abtut.....
