maxro 7
Dear Forum, I am planning to fly DLH999, from EHAM to EDDF. The flight departs 19:55 CEST and arrives at 20:40 CEST. My question was: to I have to wait until 19:55 to take off from Amsterdam on VATSIM, or can I just fly the flight anytime of my local time? Best regards, Max
Gronk 271
Hi, you can use whatever callsign, whenever you want "as long as it is not potentially offensive to other members". (https://www.vatsim.net/pilot-resource-centre/general-lessons/choosing-callsign) Of course children of "as real as it gets" will appreciate you using the right callsign for the right citypair at the right time! Enjoy!
maxro 7
Sure, the callsigns should be courteous. But it is not mandatory to fly exactly 1:1?
Gronk 271
No it's totally up to you. But as I said, a LOT of people will appreciate you simulating "the real deal".
