A318/319 Update stops installation

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I just installed the A318/319 Update for P3D V4 as it came to a halt without installing anything properly.

The Error Message reads:

Fehler bei der Featuresübertragung

Feature: P3DV4

Component: Updater

Datei: <User Flightas>\

Beschreibung: Die Syntax für den Dateinamen, Verzeichnisnamen oder die Datenträgerbezeichung ist falsch.

The only thing i can do is to click OK and the installation stops.

I already turned Windows defender OFF but without a result. P3D works. Installation with Admin rights doesn't change anything.

Another rather strange thing I noticed: I even cannot install any aerosoft scenery, or any scenery at all because I only own aerosoft sceneries.

Perhaps it helps finding a solution so I post the error message which appears here in this forum too.

This error message reads:

Fehler bei der Featuresübertragung

Component: NDP_Charts

Datei: <NDP_Files>\

Beschreibung: Die Syntax für den Dateinamen, Verzeichnisnamen oder die Datenträgerbezeichung ist falsch.

I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance.

Right now I try to repair the P3D V4 installation.

Karsten

Hi,

the files for the UPDATER have to copy to the user-Path.

The installer getting this information (user-Path) from the registrie.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Explorer\\Shell Folders
from this value "Personal"

Possible to check this for us?

Which value did you have here?

I use the installer V1100. (AS_A318-A319-PROF_P3DV4_V1100)

lockheed Martin prepar3d V4.3

The aerosoft A318/319 installer only installs files into one folder until stop in fact:

c:\Aerosoft\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional

I cannot find any Aerosoft Updater, nor can I find an \aerosoft folder in my AppData.

What Operatingsystem do you mean? Win 10 X86

Windows Font Folder: c:\windows\Fonts

Perhaps it might lead to an idea for solution. The scenery addons I mentioned in the opening post also do not install properly... Perhaps anyone can find out where the problem is.

Anyway, I will deinstall and reinstall P3D V4 once again.
