Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 222 Posted August 9, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 9, 2018 It still shows 2560x1440 even that I changed my display to 3840x2160...... How can I adapt those settings there? Verified Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted August 11, 2018 Verified Developer Share Posted August 11, 2018 Sorry. For the moment I have no idea and never had such issue. I reviewed the code and it's using "normal" libraries to get the screens and the size. Does it show the SplashScreen on the wrong window or what is the issue in detail? Deputy Sheriffs Hanse 222 Posted August 11, 2018 Author Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 11, 2018 Hi Peter, I have no issues with that, but just looking through the settings I recognized those "old" values, which I cannot change. Today I deinstalled SimStarter NG (using the windows function) and manually deleted the remains in the installation folder. Then I reinstalled SimStarter NG and the splash screen settings till show the "old" values. So I do not know from where are you getting this information. The Prepar3D,cfg shows: [MAIN] User Objects=Airplane, Helicopter, Submersible, ExternalSim, Avatar LabelsSupported=Airplane, Helicopter ShowInfoText=1 Location=0,0,3840,2160,\\.\DISPLAY1 Maximized=1 HideMenuNormal=0 LocationFullScreen=0,0,3840,2160,\\.\DISPLAY1 HideMenuFullscreen=1 Regards, Rolf Link to comment https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/138537-simstarter-ng-splashscreen/#findComment-897142 Share on other sites
Verified Developer Capt. PERO 398 Posted August 12, 2018 Verified Developer Share Posted August 12, 2018 SIMstarter NG uses a windows library to collect the window information. No idea why this does not work on your PC. Even wondering when other software (like the sim itself) find the new resolution. The selection will be created from the available display information each time you open the settings dialog. Strange. No idea at the moment. But if this doesn't affect anything I would leave it that way - okay?
