Adamthepilotkid 5
In the 32 bit version, if you turned off both engines in flight, the plane would be unctrollable until the APU or engines we’re running. In the 64 bit version, the controls still respond in the air. Also, the 6 flight computers don’t do anything. Is this a bug or something that was removed? Deputy Sheriffs Herman 1591 Posted August 9, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted August 9, 2018 Not a bug. The Aerosoft bus was never intended or programed to respond "realistically" in such a situation because it's not a part of normal ops. Whatever it does in this situation is neither correct or incorrect; it's just what the programming for normal ops happens to present (or not present). The earlier Airbus isn't a valid reference point because so much of the programing was redone to more efficiently present normal procedures and in 64 bit code, so don't expect any "fix" or further programing in this area.
