KlasE 0 Posted August 5, 2018 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Hi, I'm having trouble getting the Airbus to start descent in managed mode. Suppose I am crusing at 30000 ft and about 5-10 miles from TOD I choose a lower altitude, eg. 12000 feet and press the ALT button. Nothing is happening. No descent is commenced. What am I doing wrong? The strange thing is that I had the same problem with the previous 32-bit version of the Bus. So it's obvious that there is an error on my part. Easy Pilot 6 Posted August 5, 2018 Share Posted August 5, 2018 If you press the ALT button you are giving control to the Aircraft... therefore it will follow the FMC... If you pull the Alt button the aircraft will start to descend Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
