jn_carter 6
Hi folks. The MCDU doesn't work on batteries as it should (QR: Thales FM2 page 4). While on ground, the plane normally runs on external power or APU. In case of a loss of that power supply, vital systems have batteries to back them up. The MCDU of the predecessor ran on batteries, so is it a bug or intended and if intended why? Imagine you do a lenghty MCDU reload and all the sudden the power winks out, the MCDU goes blank and you have to start all over...
DaveCT2003 2553
Thanks for the report. We're already aware of this and I believe it's slated for SP1 or sooner. Thanks again! Best wishes.

Deputy Sheriffs masterhawk 799 Posted July 29, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted July 29, 2018 What you are requesting is an abnormal procedure/function. We model only normal ops. In the old bus it was just wrong modeled. AC is required for screens and MCDU--> External Power, APU or engine GEN's. Please login to display this image.
