ATC ?

Featured Replies

Hi. I'm up to the point where I'm going through the BEFORE START checklist. It has taken me through ensuring my APU is running, but then it asks about 'ATC'. I have to admit, I'm not 100% sure it is saying that, but it certainly sounds like it.  Because I always use the built-in ATC, I got clearance to taxi, and made sure all of the frequencies where loaded properly.  However, I can't see what I need to do to respond to that checklist item?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gaz

Gary,

the answer you can find in the documentation e. g. Vol6 StepbyStep on page  42 #91 ...... the Xponder has to be set to AUTO.......

I looked in the documentation and got frustrated, along with other calls from the copilot. I'll check to see what I missed, though.

Thanks to both of you

Gaz

Gaz, unfortunately the Vol6 StepbyStep is not yet updated to the current version of the CLand the Copilot function...... But if you have problems with the settings just use the copilot who will do those for you or in certain cases you also can use "SKIP ITEM" in the MCDU3 CHECKLIST MENU to proceed......

Thanks for that - as you say, I couldn't find it on that page. I did use the SKIP ITEM though.  To be honest, I have had to use SKIP ITEM on a few parts of the checklists (the only one I haven't is the first one).  I have to admit, it's a bit frustrating.

Thanks for getting back to me, but I'll try to go through it and note what I'm having trouble with.

It refers to Atc/tcas panel, near flaps lever
