I can add variants/ liveries to A319 IAE but not to CFM using the manual or Livery Manager methods. I am making revisions to the texture.cfg and aircraft.cfg files.

I am using the bundle software in Win 7 64 bit.

The variant/livery is in the Livery Manager and can be selected in P3D; I get this message:

 

 

I chose ok an the sim reverts to the default aircraft flying over water.

Suggestions please.

You can add manually all variants. Please post the links to the livery download, the aircraft.cfg entry made for the livery and the texture.cfg.

Ok, I found something weird in your Aircraft entry. You have this. sim = A319'CFM'.

Try deleting the 'CFM'

Copy this exactly like that:

maybe is because you did not erase the propper dds files, open old colors  LH  A319 CFM  textures, copy the first dds file which is the cockpit. then just leave the same dds files than in the LH folder.( Do not copy, just erase the files that they are not in LH folder) Try like this.

Do this, go to a new default repaint provided by aerosoft (could be the Lufthansa satcom one), copy the first .dds file (AIRBUSX_VC_PREPARV4_MAINPANEL_C) and paste it in the Iberia repaint folder

 

Now, Delete this two files from the iberia folder

AIRBUSX_V2_VC_MAINPANEL_C

AIRBUSX_V2_VC_MAINPANEL_L

 

Try that and let us know.

if that doesn't work, try checking the FLTSIM.X order in your Aircraft.cfg
