Trying to install liveries

Featured Replies

Hello there, First of all congrats on your release. I have bought it without any thought. As always you deliver the best price/quality ratio products. Now regarding my question. I remember that you said that the old liveries from the previous series would be compatible. I have tried to install the AF A319 but i am getting some weird colors. Its a bit shadowed. What am i doing wrong?

Did you update the texture.cfg inside the livery folder?

The folder names had to change...

[fltsim]
fallback.1=..\..\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional Base\Tex_FB_VC
fallback.2=..\..\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional Base\Tex_FB_A31X

Stefan:

Could the Aerosoft Team create a new download section called Airbus Professional then a subsection for A319 and A318.  That way, we re-painters can upload our Airbus Professional only repaints into a dedicated download section.  Also, in this manner, our original 32 bit Bus repaints can remain unchanged in their own subsection.

I have download the liveries from Aerosoft and every time add the repaints into the Livery Manager and goto the Spirit Plan everything is dark. If i uninstall the liveries it goes back to normal. Am I doing something wrong?

If there is something not working when it should, the answer is obvious.

To move to a better state:

1. exchange text in texture.cfg in livery path to:

      [fltsim]
      fallback.1=..\..\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional Base\Tex_FB_VC
      fallback.2=..\..\Aerosoft A318-A319 Professional Base\Tex_FB_A31X

IF THEN STILL NOT WORKING:

2. in the aircraft.cfg text paragraph coming with the livery exchange in line 'model ='

 A319 CFM (classic, non PL2WIN)

  model = DAIBA

 A319 IAE (classic, non PL2WIN)

   model = GDBCF

3. Restart sim and happy flying....
