Excessively high EGT?

So I happened to catch a glimpse of the EGT eclipsing nearly 1000C during departure a bit ago from KDFW.

I only managed to notice this because I took a screenshot of someone who did not heed the proper departure runway on Vatsim. Too be fair when I pushed I was the only one at the airport haha

I also used a rather low flex temp of 32 while the OAT was 32. Either way though I'm not sure the EGT should be that high.

Hi,

could you tell us the exact conditions under which this happened so that we can try to recreate it?

Thanks, we'll try to replicate this one in the next days.

I have yet another scenario where this happened.

Loaded aircraft from Turnaround state.

Departed EKCH.

Using AS16 for weather
EKCH 151520Z 01008KT 320V050 9999 FEW024 21/14 Q1017 NOSIG

ZFW= 55,198KG

Fuel= 8,013KG

Packs off departure.

Here are screenshots of the display during t/o power, and climb power, as well as the takeoff page.

Good thing non-normal ops are not simulated...as in this situation I'd be lucky to return to the airport.
