pomak249 1
Guys, I've looked through the manual but can find no reference to increasing the size of the GPS - can it be done ? If so - how so ? :?: Its way to small for me & my bins! Mick
ChrisB 11
"undock" the GPS window (right click in FS) and stretch the window using typical windows method with mouse Hope that helps

MK85 0
Hi @ all! I own the Beaver X and I don't like the resolution of the GPS. Is there a way to make this resolution much more clearer? If not, is there a possibility to get rid of the GPS? When I kill the Gauge, it looks as follows: front outside VC right back You still see some artefacts of the gps's frame... Aerosoft Aerosoft Team [Inactive Account] 51558 Posted October 28, 2007 Aerosoft Share Posted October 28, 2007 Hi @ all! I own the Beaver X and I don't like the resolution of the GPS. Is there a way to make this resolution much more clearer? If not, is there a possibility to get rid of the GPS? When I kill the Gauge, it looks as follows: You still see some artefacts of the gps's frame... The GPS is a 3D section of the cockpit, removing the gauge would only remove part. Removing it completely would mean remodeling part of the VC, something not planned at this moment. I'm not totally sure what could be wrong with the resolution, the VC uses the full resolution of the 2d gauge. Using the Cockpit | GPS view you should see all pixels available. when needed you could zoom in and would get the view shown below;
MK85 0
Hi! Thank you for your answer! Is there a way to get a better resolution, WITHOUT zooming in the GPS? Thanks.

Is there a way to get a better resolution, WITHOUT zooming in the GPS? Thanks. I could change the cfg that defines the view so you get directly to this view. But it will remain a VC viewpoint. MK85 0
No, that's not, what I meant. I don't want to zoom in and I don't want to alway have this zoomed view, you know? I'd like to fly in the VC with normal zoom 1x and a clear viewable GPS / or no GPS in it. If there isn't a way, thank you very much nevertheless. There are some side effects, like a black bar low down when the 2d panel is open and some slow down in frames. unpack the file to the FSXMaindirSimObjectsAirplanesAerosoft Beaver Standard WheelsPanel folder and open the GPS with Shift-1 in FSX

Presumably they are both working but... I can see this becoming 'fun'.. I
MK85 0
Hi! Is there a way to get rid of the GPS in the VC of the Beaver-X? If I remove the gauges, there a still a kind of frame of the GPS... Is it integrated into the model? Would it be much work to remove the GPS frome the MDL? To be honest, it's not nice to see the GPS so blurred... Thank you very much. With kind regards, Hans EDIT: Is there anybody out there, who can help me or answer to my question?

Brian W Keske 0
Hans, the GPS in the VC is part of the model, so, although you can remove it from the panel.cfg, but it will still show up in the model untextured.
MK85 0
Hi Brian, so there is no way to remove it from the model?
Brian W Keske 0
Hans, I'm afraid only Aerosoft could do that.
