SidStarz 0
Just bought this add-on. Downloaded and installed as Admin. Missing runways 02/20. See the attached files. Running: P3D v4.2 AivlaSoft EFB (latest version). After install, I ran simulator scenery data update. Orbx Navigraph MakeRwys.exe v4.84 - Ran MakeRwys and found the following in the runways.txt file that had just been created. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted May 30, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 30, 2018 I can see this too, but no idea what the reason is for this error. Will have to ask.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4161 Posted May 30, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted May 30, 2018 OK, this is what I found out: 02/20 is set to inactive in the AFCAD, due to the fact that AI Traffic would get stuck if set to active. And as in real life this rwy is rarely used due to many other restrictions, It wouldnt really matter. Interesting is the fact that EFB obviously can only display active rwys. I checked it with another product which displays it correct.
SidStarz 0
Ok. That explains it. I went ahead and disabled the runways in the EFB so that no errors will pop up now. Thanks for the info..
headley 0
Hello Otto, Thanks for reopening this post. Is there a way to supply an afcad with active runway 02/20, so users can choose between both when needed? Reason is, i never fly with AI, only online (Ivao). And even if a rwy is rarely used does not mean never used. I would then be nice to see this rwy in Aivlasoft. Thanks for your help and support. data63 421
you could "activate" the runway by switching one of the runways to takeoff = yes - compile it - run the EFB "Data->Simulator scenery data update" and afterwards revert the rwy to it's previous state not very elegant - but should work other way COULD be to change the runway paths to type taxiway - but you would have to delete all the holdings

data63 421
yes (backup original first! )
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted June 18, 2018 Developer Share Posted June 18, 2018 Attached you find a Version of the Afcad, where the Runway 02 open for landing, 20 open for takeoff. Only use this version for EFB Database Updates, not useable for ATC and AI Traffic. Make a backup of the original file. For EFB Only: AFCAD for LEBL Prof only for EFB Database.zip
