abritt 0
I am currently running FSX + Acceleration on windows 10. For some reason, when I load up the aircraft, the VC shows fine. However when I switch to any of the outside views, there is no plane, only the windows (refer to attached image). I have the HIGHMEMFIX=1 tweak in my fsx.cfg file, however that doesn't seem to be working. Thanks! Please login to display this image.
Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted March 4, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 4, 2018 From which location did you take the fsx.cfg? Also, tell is a bit about your hardware.

The FSX.cfg file was taken from "Flight Simulator X Files" I am running windows 10 64bit. 2.60GHz processor. 4GB RAM.
Deputy Sheriffs Tom A320 4915 Posted March 4, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 4, 2018 Otto asked for the exact file location on your hard drive. This is important, as there are possibly multiple locations where you will find the fsx.cfg file, but only one correct location for adding your own stuff (i.e. the highmemfix) to. C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX But even with the highmemfix applied, your system is below the requirements. Especially in terms of RAM. The problem you face is a direct result of having not enough memory in your computer: Please login to display this image. Deputy Sheriffs mopperle 4162 Posted March 4, 2018 Deputy Sheriffs Share Posted March 4, 2018 Ok, but as Tom already said, your hardware is below the minimum system requirements.
