nothing responds

i load up into the sim and nothing responds, i installed as admin, have yet to apply the most recent update for the flight dynamics, i load into the flying part of the sim, mouse click on controls and switches doesent work, i hear what sounds like an engine idling but nothing is responding...i open the little menu and nothing responds there either (shift 1) i also cant seem to load the aircraft to view it in the aircraft selection screen...any help appriciated, i have tried reinstalling, first time an addon has ever done this, there is also no entry for the dll in the dll file for fsx steam if there is supposed to be one.. (\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE)

the engine works, i can throttle up, the aircraft just has no animations, i have disabled any adblocks and anti virus for my pc and reinstalled and no luck, i can now view the aircraft in the 360 view in aircraft selection, but i tried to reload the flight and got a fatal error...

No, it just tells me a got a fatal error and gives me the option to close the program or check for a soloution but checking for a soloution has mever done anything for me

let em grab a screenshot of the fatal error, im thinking its something to do with the dll.xml or something, i had a similar issue with the milviz otter...i cant remember what they told me to do, i think i had to edit soemthing..

If you update the flight dynamics try to rename the new air file to AN2_AMM.AIR. Works for me after the FD updating.

im not going to update the flight dynamics until i get this issue resolved, that way i dont accidentally add to the problem

Run this and please send the results. Most likely there is an issue with runtimes on your system.

alright, i will run that..give me like 10 minutes and ill have the results (unless it takes longer to run the test) as far as i know everything is up to date and no other addon has ever had this issue aside from the milviz otter

As far as I remember FSX:SE uses a customized version of simconnect. which can cause problems. To solve this you can install the original simconnect:

In your Steam FSX folder (usually in Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\ ) look into SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-XPACK\

There should be a SimConnect.msi in that folder. Run this to install the original (legacy) version of simconnect and report back

Seems you do not have installed valid simoconnect DLL in windows winSxS folder. Find "*simconnect" without quotes in "Windows/winsxs" folder and post versions of simconnect DLLs you have.
