Er!k 572
Hello Aerosoft, Just bought EDHI and installed. In the manual I read the procedure in how to use the scenery without ORBX Germany. I have followed the instructions (copied the three files into the \scenery folder, and removed the CVX file) but now I have some strange issues as you can see in the screenshots. Any advice please? Er!k 572
And before you ask. I have reinstalled and started the sim without changing anything. This is how it looks default (I am only using FTX Global). Please login to display this image. Please login to display this image.
Er!k 572
I also noticed that the boat traffic and SODE windsock is not installed by default. If I manually place the files they work OK, except for a strange effect from the boat. Please login to display this image.
Er!k 572
Strange indeed. My mesh is set to 1m.
mail@schraepel.com 3
Hallo Erik, I have problems to install the boat traffic. If you did it manually place the files --> can you tell me how you did it! Thank you, Holger!
Er!k 572
Yes sure. Go to your Prepar3D v4\Ecosystem\Aerosoft\Hamburg-Finkenwerder folder. You will find a folder called EDHI-Faehre. If you open it do the following: Effects -> copy to Prepar3D v4\Effects Scenery\World\Scenery -> copy to Prepar3D v4\Scenery\World\Scenery Simobjects\Boats -> copy to Prepar3D v4\Simobjects\Boats Sound -> copy to Prepar3D v4\Sound
Captain Doctor 128
Hi @Er!k, what I have to do with the "Windsocks"-folder? Also copy and paste in another P3D-folder? Thanks!

So in this case you didn't remove the file EDHI_ADEX_DKS_CVX.bgl ? Maybe the documentation is wrong.

Do the following: - go to the folder YOUR_SIM\SimObjects\Boats\AI_HADAG_Loewe\ - save or rename the file sim.cfg - replace it with the attached file sim.cfg
Fischkopp 1
As for the torpedo-shaped bow wave at the ferry, I suspect that will only occur if the 2015 version of the ferries are installed. The Flusi probably accesses the old sim.cfg, which has been changed in the meantime. You can fix the bug yourself by opening the sim.cfg with the text editor or Notepad ++ (DO NOT OPEN WITH WORDPAD) (your Simulator directory\SimObjects\ boats\AI_HADAG_Loewe\ sim.cfg). In the line "SternPosition =" changes the Value from 0.00 to -15.0 If you still have problems with the ferry, you can post it in the SimDocks forum (or here).
