Recently we have seen a lot of codes used to unlock our products being offered for discounted prices. Almost all of them are bought using stolen credit cards. These codes will all be blocked by our systems and you will have to try to get your money back from the seller, we are unable to assist in these matters. Do be very careful when you see a deal that is almost too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Hello

I've just purchased the AEROSOFT - ROTTERDAM X FSX P3D (403) from Sim Market.  The description stated it is P3D but on installing it, the options do not show a P3D v4 option, only v3. Does this mean that it is not compatible with the latest P3Dv4?  I haven't completed the installation yet, but will await your reply.

Many Thanks

Father Dane

I have installed it in P3Dv4, and during daytime it works okay. Only the lighting is not compatible, so the airport is dark at night..

While I have no answer for you, we could try the classic answers... :)

  • Patience is a virtue.
  • All good things comes to those who wait.
  • It will be released when it's developed, beta testet and bug free.
  • Soon
  • etc...

Large amount of airports and scenery for the U.S and Europe.. as far as the eye can't see,.. Yet, for Latin America only a couple half-baked products out there.

Would be great if companies like Aerosoft would develop airports for  Latin America.. Only the major ones in:  Mexico, Central America, and some in South America.

Hi, I think it may be better if you post this request into the request thread (linked below) and not into a preview one..:)

As long as the Aerosoft Dutch Airports are Orbx TrueEarth compatible I will be happy whenever they are released. As good as that TrueEarth product is, the updated airports are honestly not its strongest selling point in my humble opinion.

I agree. The landscape of ORBX TrueEarth is stunning, but when it comes to the airports even freeware NL2000 is better. Luckily they're rather compatible, but NL2000 leaves a lot to wish for when it comes to quality. That's where Aerosoft comes in.

There is however an advantage in that you don't have to model anything outside the airport that ORBX has already modeled. In such they can be like FSDG "lite" airports.

It's already two months ago since the last post. What's the status of the development right now? I can't wait to fly from this awesome airport!

As has been said before, development will continue after Lukla has been finished. Two months ago it was close to beta, meaning there was still some work to be done before it entered beta. And even then it's not finished, after all during beta testing issues are being found which need to be fixed. That also takes time.

You can only be certain the development of Lukla is finished when it's released. Until then, development of Rotterdam is on hold. It's still the same as it was two months ago, only difference is that Lukla has come closer to release so it's shorter before development on Rotterdam can continue. But even then, a lot of work still has to be done.

At least, that's the way I understand it.

So did I, and it's my first scenery purchase ever! :(

Will we at least be able to upgrade for free once the Professional version is here?

When major parts of this product are completly new done to e.g. support the new PBR technology in P3D it will definitely not be a free upgrade and an upgrade fee will apply. The amount of the fee will be defined when the product is close to be released.

I'm ok with an update fee, as long as I didn't just throw away €12.

You can install the airport in P3Dv4, but you are missing the runway lights at night unfortunately...
