wiss 2
Hello everybody When flying the CRJ-700 to Cleveland last Friday on a vatsim event, I was asked by ATC to fly a holding pattern. I entered the holding data according to the corresponding chart, however the FMC always subtracted 10 degrees to the inbound course I put on the FMC. For example, in this case I put 294 degrees, but the FMC showed 284 instead. Is important to note that the airplane tried to fly the holding with the correct course. Also the holding is depicted with the correct course on the MFD, however the FMC always shows 10 degrees less than the input value. I attach a screenshot Please login to display this image. I tried different inbound courses, however the FMC always subtracted 10 degrees. I use the 1.0.1.1 version of the CRJ in Prepar3D 3.4.22 in Windows 10 64-bit Thanks
Developer Hans Hartmann 3695 Posted October 10, 2017 Developer Share Posted October 10, 2017 It's just a guess, but magnetic variation might be the reason for this. The course on the hold page is true, but what you see on the MFD Map is magnetic.
