Leg#19 Petropavlosk-Unalaska

Early morning departure towards East, crossing the Date Line.

The weather gets worse the more we get close to Aleutian Islands.

Luckily we land just a few minutes before dark, visibility still good with heavy right crosswind.

Leg#20 Unalaska-Anchorage

Charming flight to Anchorage, well known place for me as it has been my hub for a a few years when I flew with Fedex Virtual Air Cargo (and I still do). Arrival winds are from West so I may fly my favourite visual approach to 25R along the higway. Snow under Breitling 2 carriage.

Another great set of screenshots.  Fire spitting 3350's on takeoff, approach shot view between the engine nacelles.  Unique point of view, nice work:)

Resting in New York. American Pastoral, suburbs, Newark, sunday family barbecues, feeling the generation gap growing day by day, flying an old plane in modern times. Back to my Concorde, waiting for the new maddog X. Magic of flightsimming.

Leg#30 Gander-Shannon

Uneventful oceanic crossing until short final when engine #2 got fire and blasted.

Luckyly there wasn't time to realize we were already safe on the ground and the firemen got the duty.

Breitling 2, the well known best trimotor, is now under recovery.

Lovely Roberto. It has been a great pleasure to follow your journey. And your photo-real screenshots have been a marvel.
Congratulations.
