Today I flew to the first leg of London, Biggin Hill (EGKB) to Turin (LIMF). A very comfortable flight with my DC3 ... during 3 hours, 13 minutes...

Flugstrecke LIBR Brindisi - LGIR Iraklion 468 nm

Flugstrecke LGIR Iraklion - HEPS Port Said

Bin mal gespannt, was hier auf uns wartet...

Flugstrecke: JAZAN OEGN - ADEN OYAA - 283 nm, 1:43 h

Hi Josef, hope you get my English as I can't do German! Just saw from the official logbook you were in Aden. I've just flown down from Jazan in Saudi this morning, landing in Riyan, further along the coast after opting to give Aden a miss. Hoping to fly on this evening to Salalah in Oman, which I think your heading to as well. Comprehensive diary, good pictures. Enjoy the flying!

Hello James,

I am totally shabby in Aden, with some locals here. But you must be very careful in Aden. The air is very leaking momentarily. I have read your mail today on arrival in Mascat.
From Aden I flew with a DC6 to Mascat, I thought that is just just around the corner. But I needed more than 5 hours. I have experienced a sandstorm on the way, which is not good for my piston engines. Had to drive around the storm.
Now I'm going to take a break on the Red Sea before I leave for Mumbai. Since I will probably again take my DC6. After initial conversion problems I have the machine relatively well under control.
I wish you a good flight.

Josef

Flugstrecke Aden OYAA - Mascat OOMS, 993 nm, ganze 5:17 h

22.10.2017 Flugstrecke OOMS Mascat - VABB Mumbai, 859 nm, 4:23 h

23.10.2017: Flugstrecke VABB Mumbai - VANP Nagpur, 369 nm, 1:44 h

28.10.2017: Flugstrecke VANP Nagpur - VECC Calcutta, 532 nm, 2:32 h

Mal gespannt, was mich hier in Calcutta erwartet.

30.10.2017 - Kalkutta VECC - Rangun VYYY, 554 nm, 3:38 h

31.10.2017: Yangon (VYYY) - Phuket (VTSP), Distanz: 543 nm, Flugdauer: 3:42 h Start: 11:00 z, Ankunft 14:43 z

Bin unterwegs etwas vom Weg abgekommen, wäre fast in Bangkok gewesen..

31.10.2017: Phuket (VTSP) - Singapore (WSSS), Distanz: 529 nm, Flugdauer: 3:04 h Start: 18:17 z, Ankunft 21:21 z
