Adriano72 19
Left Gatwick yesterday to meet an increasing bad weather on my route to Frankfurt, an added stop cause of wanting to experience the new Orbx Germany South. Actually the weather around there was quite dense so just got a new glimpses of the new scenery... Unexpectedly the radio on my Connie didn't get the ILS signal and had to fly the landing guessing where the airport was and spotting it just 3 miles before the threshold! Luckily my passengers were generous enough to applaude the one wheel landing at EDDF!

Adriano72 19
Made my way to Heraclion, a very smooth landing. Actually my best ever with the Connie. Adriano72 19
And finally at Cairo International Airpor after a long flight above plenty of only water! It was the first time I flew over Greece and then on the African continent...this is why I'm so much loving this adventure. This night I flew ove Alexandria where my mother was born, saw the Pyramids for the very first time. Ok it's just a simulation but there's something real through the placebo effect I'd say! Time for some pics now. Laving Heraclion at sunrise Please login to display this image. Connie sunrise! (Not an Eagles' song) Please login to display this image. Adriano72 19
After ten days of setting the new 1080 Ti I7 8700 rig AI finally managed to fly again! The trip from Tokyo was plagued by flickerings in Tokyo airport (someting due to Orbx Vector) and the landing at Chitose by some height incongruencies but not fixable since RJCJ is not in the airport database of Vector altitude corrections. Anyway the sky and terrain with everything maxed out and high res textures was amazing! Please login to display this image.
