rgeber 0
Hello I just got one of XP's blocking "missing scenery" messages related to the SCEL package. The log (attached) states: 1:44:02.596 E/SCN: Failed to find resource 'TERRENOS/A_02.pol', referenced from scenery package 'Custom Scenery/a_SCEL/'. 1:44:02.596 E/SCN: Custom Scenery/a_SCEL/Earth nav data/-30-080/-24-071.dsf: 1:44:02.596 E/SCN: The art asset 'TERRENOS/A_02.pol' could not be found. 1:44:02.596 E/SCN: DSF canceled due to missing art assets, file=Custom Scenery/a_SCEL/Earth nav data/-30-080/-24-071.dsf, err=15 (dsf_ErrCanceled). 1:44:02.596 E/SCN: WARNING: got error on DSF load for scenery file -24, -71, Custom Scenery/a_SCEL/ 1:44:03.800 I/SCN: DSF load time: 908430 for file Global Scenery/X-Plane 11 Global Scenery/Earth nav data/-30-080/-24-071.dsf (108376 tris) 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: +------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: | The following scenery package has a problem and will therefore not be loaded: 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: | Custom Scenery/a_SCEL/ 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: | It requires an additional library scenery package that is not installed, or it is missing some of its files. 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: | http://lookup.x-plane.com/_lookup_11_/missing_custom_scenery.html 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: | (io_dsf.cpp:710) 2:42:27.816 E/SYS: +------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The strange thing about this is, that the error appeared long AFTER I started the flight at SCEL. I flew from SCEL towards KFLL. The message appeared far north of Santiago. I've attached a map highlighting the area where the message popped up. Mario Donick 271
The file referenced by the error message does not exist in the SCEL package. Maybe that's a bug. Best report it to support@virtualdesign3d.com
