canadagoose 9
I'm sure I have missed something here. I believe I have everything setup properly and ready to taxi. But for some reason the aircraft will not move forward when I apply the throttles. It's almost like I have missed something. The EICAS shows the engines are running and I have flipped up the 2 red levers on the throttle. But the red levers seem to go back into the down position when I apply throttle. Is that why I am not moving? Should I be locking the fuel cutoff levers somehow? Regards
doylie22 23
The red levers should return to the down position after start up. My start up procedure is: CONT ING: ON R ENG: Start R FUEL CUTOFF: Click Once R ENG THROTTLE: Single LEFT click to IDLE (Last two steps should be done immediately one after the other. Repeat for left engine. It does take quite a bit to get the A/C moving. About 40% N1. What sim are you using? P3D has this silly thing where you can freeze the user position. Make sure that has not been accidentally turned on. It's under options.
