Nebel in Abhängigkeit des Spreads

Die X-Plane Version 11.02 bietet eine neue Variable an, mit welcher die "Nebeldichte" beeinträchtigt werden kann.

 

Ich experimentiere gerade damit, und auch wenn meine Methode nicht unbedingt auf der dahinterliegenden Physik basiert, erziele ich damit doch den von mir gewünschten Effekt.

 

Beispiel: Flug in Zentralaustralien (Allice Springs), extrem trockene Luft, die Standardsicht unter FL100 ist nahezu Null, mit meinem Script sieht das für mich wesentlich besser aus.

Bei Flügen mit einem Spread von 1 °C ändert das Script nichts an der von X-Plane generierten Sicht.

Bleibt noch zu klären, wie sich das Script zwischen den genannten Extremen verhalten soll.

 

Wer mag kann das Script verwenden, über Antworten zu den im Script gestellten Fragen würde ich mich freuen.

sim/private is how you know it IS for the hackers. If it was a public dataref, the implication is that it was a long term supported part of the interface that we will honor indefinitely. This is NOT that - this is something you can poke at until you can't - it may go away at any time. I'm not going to INTENTIONALLY delete it, but if it's not easy to support, we're not going to write backward compatibility code for it.

If FWL won't write private datarefs, y'all have to take that up with Carsten or use another plugin - ANY plugin can write a private dataref with the XPLMDataAccess API.
