amahran 605
I was wondering what the deal with the "Flight Instruments" check is. My experience tells me that it should involve checking the brick, heading indicators, and compass in turns to the left and right while you're taxiing. I checked the manual and it says that it involves checking that all the displays are on. Would you not want to do that BEFORE you leave the gate? musefan 363
I'm not exactly sure, but as far as i know, it's basically checking that all instruments are in agreement with each other. For example, both PF and PM attitude indicators should both look the same, as should the backup attitude indicator. Same goes for the navigational displays, which in turn should also agree with the compass. That sort of thing.
