ianfbeggs 0
Is FS commander supposed to fly the sid for you? The reason I ask is that when Im taking off from rwy23 cyyz I have the lester7 sid programed which is 3.9DME but the minute Im off the ground it switches to the next waypoint and does not follow the sid.Any help would be great Thanks
smonkcaptain 0
The same happens to me. Are you using fs9 or fsx?

Shaun Fletcher 570
Hello ianbeggs, I just tried it and see what you are seeing but I believe there may be a reason for this. I think whats happening is that the program calculates when an aircraft needs to start turning to make the next waypoint due to speed, the larger and faster the plane the sooner it needs to turn saves overshooting t much. Just my opinion though. If you try the same departure in a slower aircraft like the Cessna you will see that it can get quite close to the waypoint before it actually turns, so it does seem to do as it says.
