blackbird971 199
Hello, This might sound weird since I'm clearly the only one, at the moment, reporting that one but for some reason I have an airport elevation problem. You can see what I mean with the images below. Only thing I did is deactivated "Static People". Hoping to get rid of this problem soon. Cheers, Brandon P. Please login to display this image. Nick P Farrington 5
Run that ORBX vector Configuration tool that will fix the problem you might have to manual remove MAN in the config tool
blackbird971 199
Hey Nick, Did that and it didn't work. Forgot to check manualy if it really was off though.
johnny19 16
I unchecked the vector in the manchester configurator, and manually excluded EGCC in vector. Then it worked for me. Although i am missing vegetation around the hotel, and airport veichles

I forgot to mention that I have FTX England Navigate to the following folder (where %FLIGHTSIM% is your sim root directory): %FLIGHTSIM%\ORBX\FTX_EU\FTX_EU_ENG_05\scenery Delete the following files: ADE_FTX_ENG_EGCC.BGL ADE_FTX_ENG_EGCC_CVX.BGL FTX_ENG_EGCC_objects.bgl You should probably do this for any other add-on airport you have as well, as FTX has a habit of things 'bleeding through' the scenery - i.e. duplicate objects, default terminal building appearing over the top of other buildings, etc. Also, do you have FTX Global installed as well, or just England? Could you check the order of your scenery library? Should be something similar to this: Add-on Scenery (Aerosoft Manchester, etc) FTX Orbx Libraries OpenLC Europe OpenLC North America OpenLC Base Default P3D Africa, Asia, Europe, etc Orbx Vector OBJ Orbx Vector APT Orbx Vector CVX Orbx Vector EXX Default P3D scenery 1107 to 000 Orbx FTX Vector AEX Scenery Base Scenery World If you run the FTX Central app, I think there is an option to set the library insertion points and will automatically configure this for you. onlyplanes88 6
Un-check Orbx Vector APT in the scenery library? that fixed a similar looking issue with Madiera.

When that happens, try running the Auto Configurator for Airport Elevation. I don't have the Manchester scenery yet, so I don't know if this will work, but it does work with other scenery when the Manual disable doesn't. Best wishes. Edvardo 1
Hi I don't have this EGCC but if you have UTX Europe, try to deactivate EGCC. "Modify Status of Repositioned Airports" option under the "Terrain" menu of the UTX Setup Tool. Maybe this causes elevation problems BRGDS

hodge001 11
Hi Just a quick thought but have you checked the following ORBX folders as they do contain EGCC bgl files so if you look at your ORBX FTX Vector folders in the locations below just to check that they are as follows.. The folder to look in are as follows where ...[drive]:\ is the drive you P3D or FSX for that matter is installed on ...[drive]:\Lockheed Martin v3\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\scenery This should have one EGCC file named… EGCC.inactive If it is named EGCC.bgl the just change the extension to read .inactive Then check the following folder…. ...[drive]:\Lockheed Martin v3\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_APT\scenery There should be two EGCC files named.. EGCC.inactive If the above is named EGCC.bgl the just change the extension to read .inactive and the second one is named EGCC_default.bgl I hope it is of some use. FactionOne 20
The 'belt & braces' method (as opposed to picking through specific folders) for all this is... Browse to \<P3D Root\ORBX\ Search EGCC from there (so it searches ALL ORBX folders below its root), RENAME anything (everything) in the results to <filename>.<originalextension>.OFF (for the record, I actually just replace the last letter of the original extension with an underscore - it helps me track what I've disabled and what other things have (given that the .off suffix is used by other tools/installers)) ( @tomkellock92 : you clearly know your stuff, but I'm not sure deleting things is good advice; if OP wants to reinstate his previous scenery set-up, he's stuck - renaming or moving is the 'safe' way) If after disabling EVERYTHING in ALL the ORBX subfolders with EGCC in their name, you still have a problem, it's 99.9(r)% likely caused by something else. Best regards, Rob.
