Looked around the forums but couldn't find similar, basically I'm having a strange issue in FSX-SE where the dials of the engine displays are not drawing. Everything else appears to  be functioning correctly.  I have installed the sim connect files. Almost seems like a font issue. 

This may be due to not having all the Microsoft C++ Redistributables installed/iupdated or a SimConnect issue.  Follow the steps in the document below, and that should resolve it for you.

Thanks for the help Dave, I worked out the issue. It was to do with having Hardware rendering set on while using Sparse grid supersampling.
