I've noticed on my first two flights that the ATIS isn't heard when putting the frequency in the copilot COM radio.  Is that an error or should it be able to be tuned in and heard?  I need to keep my side on the ATC frequency since I am flying online.

Are you listening to VHF2? (Make sure the knob is lit up).

Yes but when I did that it switched Comm 1 to vhf1 too.  Wouldn't that cut communication to atc if they were trying to contact me?
