stephenkeane 4
Why do airport vehicles seem to sink into the concrete of the airport. Not so realistic I think
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted October 31, 2016 Developer Share Posted October 31, 2016 Sorry, but about what did you talk here? Can you please take the time to explain your issue alittlebit more detailed, like at which airport you see it, before you use my time to comment your statement about realistics for which you seams to have the time? stephenkeane 4
I see it at Heathrow and EGCC.. Ground vehicles tyres (reifen?) seem to be under the ground at the bottom of the wheel.
Developer OPabst 2091 Posted November 6, 2016 Developer Share Posted November 6, 2016 The problem is generated by the design of the scenery, where the developer has a groundlayer for the apron some centimeter higher then the level of the airport ground. This is mostly done to prevent flickering of this poly when you far away from the airport. AES must use the level of the airport as base, same as the aircraft do, otherwise the vehicles or jetways did not connect correct, because the distances will not anymore fit. And AES could not known, that there is a poly above the ground. As long as the vehicles are not one meter below the ground, and we talk about some cm, then this airports will have this liftet groundpolys. When you talk about UK2000 airports here, this could be the reason.
